EMI Studio 3 had just been updated and the drum sound was magnificent. (Especially if Peter Vince or Tony Clark were driving the desk) Bruce Welch was producer and these records were some of the best Cliff had recorded. Alan Tarney wrote the song and played bass and Terry Briton was on guitar. I used my Leedy Shell ASP snare drum on this track to get really dry sound and we seemed to get into a good groove from the start. The right song, the right tempo, the right studio, the right band at the right time.
