My Cup of Tea – Peter Frampton

Peter Frampton invited Hank Marvin and myself to co-write and perform a track on his instrumental album Fingerprints. The nice easy groove, ‘My Cup of Tea’ was the result. Recorded at Mark Knopfler’s British Grove Studios in London. Hugh Padgham was the engineer and I used my Silver Pearl kit that I was touring at the time with the 8″ 10″ 14″ 16″ tom tom configuration. One of the best drum sounds I have ever had.
