Lines – The Walker Brothers

One of the joys of session work when you get booked to do an album. This was recorded at George Martin’s new Air Studios in Oxford Street. The arranger was Steve Gray. Scott Walker and Steve Gray worked closely together on these tracks. Not an ordinary drum part but the song needed some big gaps. This track is very atmospheric with Scott’s haunting voice and Steve’s brilliant score.
