If Not For You – Olivia Newton John

‘If Not For You’ was Olivia Newton-John’s first big hit. Produced by Bruce Welch and John Farrar. Recorded by Peter Vince at Abbey Road Studio 3. Written by Bob Dylan. A medium groove that felt good for the song but not loud. I used a hard brush played at the bass where the brush meets the rubber grip. It’s always about the song.
